The best way to start is to have a gratitude diary in which you can write down your gratitude's every morning to start the day and every night before bed. Doing this will set you up for a beautiful day and a great sleep. Get your children involved with this as well; it is never too early.

 Going for a morning and evening walk is another way to be thankful for what you have; it helps in elevating the mood, calms and helps you to break free of toxic thoughts and emotions.

 Appreciating people is another way to show gratitude, it doesn't matter they are of your age, live at the same place or in the neighborhood, enjoy small things like food, home or nature and can be anything which makes you and others around you happy. It's not only about saying "Thank you" but about understanding the gratefulness deeply from the inside.
