It began with someone we love.

Before Caithy was a skincare brand, it was a husband and wife looking for an answer closer to home.

When the wife was struggling with a skin condition, the recommendations she had tried had not brought the comfort she hoped for. Her husband began researching natural ingredients, driven by a simple wish: to find something that would help her feel comfortable in her skin again.

That personal search became a shared interest in skincare. As they explored natural ingredients and found a routine that worked for her, they began sharing their skincare with friends. One friend asked a question that changed everything: why not share it with more people?

A small beginning. A deeply personal purpose.

That encouragement marked the beginning of Caithy. A small, couple-founded business grew from the care they put into one person’s skin to the care they wanted to share with others. For the founders, the name Caithy is inspired by the Greek idea of purity—a reminder of the intention behind the brand.

Today, that personal approach lives on in our New Zealand skincare, made with natural and organic ingredients, and in our relationships with the beauticians, salons and customers who choose us. We value the conversations, the everyday rituals and the trust built over time.
