Why Caithy Organics Doesn’t Follow Skincare Trends — And What We Do Instead

At Caithy Organics, we’re often asked:
“Do you use retinol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, or vitamin C in your products?”
The short answer? No—and there’s a very intentional reason behind it.
Rather than chase trends, we focus on what’s timeless: supporting your skin with nature’s wisdom and your body’s own healing power.
❌ Why We Say No to Trendy Actives
Popular skincare ingredients like retinol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and synthetic vitamin C may offer short-term results, but they come with drawbacks:
-
Retinol can cause irritation, peeling, and sun sensitivity.
-
Niacinamide in high concentrations may disrupt sensitive skin.
-
Hyaluronic acid can actually dehydrate your skin in dry climates.
-
Vitamin C oxidizes quickly and can cause stinging or breakouts if not stabilized properly.
We believe skincare should heal, not stress the skin.
